Meet Linda
Mom, Educator, and Pre-School Teacher Extraordinaire
Linda was one of the first Wonder Bunch advisors, biggest cheerleaders, and preschool teacher to Alex and Meghan’s little girls. With more than 21 years’ experience teaching preschool in Nebraska, and a long history of teaching grade school in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, and Germany, Linda has a unique perspective on the evolution of children’s education.
Linda embraces technology in her own classroom, while artfully working around the empty stimulation and addictive reward systems utilized by most children’s apps.
“I hadn’t seen anything like what Wonder Bunch is doing. Right from the start, they were identifying the same problems I’d had finding appropriate apps for our classroom. A lot of beeping, flashing lights, loud noises. They wanted the opposite — gentle. What they’ve created truly accomplishes this.”
Meghan and Alex have loved having Linda in their daughters’ lives, and respected her perspective as an educator and as a mother. Her opinion became the gold standard of what Wonder Bunch products should be.
“My biggest thrill as a preschool teacher is a child saying ‘Look! I did it!’ With Wonder Bunch apps, the children are able to work and learn independently on something they love. Not only are they learning the fundamental skills, but they’re learning that they truly are capable, and the whole world begins opening up to them. It’s so gratifying to watch their self-esteem skyrocket when they realize how much they’re really doing, and doing on their own.”
